In recent 24 hours, 1039 cases of corona have been infected in Manipur, 465 in Arunachal Pradesh, and 581 in Mizoram.
To break the chain of the third wave, the public authority has declared a complete curfew for 10 days beginning from July 18. “Strict steps need to be taken to break the chain of transmission. Therefore, the state government has decided to declare a total curfew for ten days with effect from July 18, 2021,” the health department said.
An order gave by Manipur Chief Secretary Dr. Rajesh Kumar, chairman of the State Executive Committee of the State Disaster Management Authority, said, “The circumstance of COVID-19 in the state keeps on involving concern and measures are expected to control the spread of infection.”
