A truck conveying LPG chambers crashed into another truck close to Dantari town on Jaipur-Ajmer National Highway on Saturday night. The truck burst into flames prompting blasts in LPG chambers. Two people who were in the truck died immediately, while four others had a close call. They had few injuries and are in basic condition. The blasts were heard in a span of 20 km from the blast spot, making alarms in a few close by towns.
The truck was holding 300 LPG chambers and was headed to Dholpur from Nasirabad when it crashed into another truck on the throughway. The driver of the other truck had applied break unexpectedly because of which the truck conveying chambers slammed into it. As a fire broke out in the truck, the chambers began exploding.
As indicated by the police, there were six individuals in the truck. Four figured out how to escape, however, two died immediately. The blast made such a devastating sound that representatives and customers of a restaurant ran almost 200 meters from the spot.
