DELHI CAPITALS vs SUNRISERS HYDERABAD: Delhi Capitals beat Sunrisers Hyderabad by 8 wickets at Dubai International Stadium, Dubai. Sunrisers Hyderabad set a target of 135 runs, Delhi Capitals scored this goal in 17.5 overs with the help of Shikhar Dhawan (42), Shreyas Iyer (47 not out) and Rishabh Pant (35 not out).
With this success, Delhi Capitals have reached the highest point of the points table with 14 points from their 9 matches and need only 2 more wins to make it to the playoffs. Hyderabad is at the bottom of the points table with only 1 win so far this season.
Delhi Capitals got off to a great start in the second over by hitting four boundaries on either side of the wicket. Prithvi Shaw joins the party by hitting a 4 against Khaleel Ahmed. Nevertheless, the left-arm pacer eventually won as he dismissed Shaw with a slower delivery. Chief Kane Williamson took an exciting catch running back from mid-on.

Sunrisers Hyderabad got off to a helpless beginning when they dismissed David Warner in the third ball of the innings, trailed by the dismissal of Wriddhiman Saha in the 5th over. Kane Williamson also couldn’t assemble much as he dropped 3 catches in the 10th over.

Abdul Samad and Rashid Khan attempted to balance out the ship with 28 and 22 individually. Kagiso Rabada took 3 for 37 and Enrique Nortje and Axar Patel scored 2-2 to confine Sunrisers to 134.
