India Beat Sri Lanka By 6 Wickets In T20 Series

SRI LANKA TOUR OF INDIA, 2022: India beat Sri Lanka by 6 wickets to win the T20I series 3-0. This match will be played on Sunday at Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, Dharamsala. India’s batsman Shreyas Iyer, performing brilliantly in the last match, became the player of the match and series.

India batsman chased down the target in 16.5 overs. In this match, Sri Lanka set a target of 147 runs in 20 overs. India batsman Shreyas Iyer played well and he scored 73 runs in 45 balls. Where another batsman Ravindra Jadeja scored 22 runs in 15 balls and Deepak Hooda scored 21 runs in 16 balls.

ICC tweeted on Twitter and said, ” India complete a 3-0 clean sweep πŸ™Œ They win the third T20I against Sri Lanka in Dharamsala by six wickets πŸ’ͺ”

Sri Lanka scored 146 runs in 20 overs and lost 5 wickets. Where Sri Lanka won the toss and decided to bat first. Where Sri Lankan batsman Dasun Shanaka scored 74 in 38 balls and Dinesh Chandimal scored 22 runs in 27 balls. In the Sri Lankan team, both these batsmen are the highest run-scorers of the Sri Lankan team.

India bowler Avesh Khan took 2 wickets for his team. Where another bowler like Mohammad Siraj, Harshal Patel and Ravi Bishnoi took 1-1 wickets for a team.
