Known as one of the largest media houses in the country, the Dainik Bhaskar Media group has gone under the scanner of taxmen. The Income Tax Division is raiding the group at various locations which includes Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Gujarat.
As indicated by the sources, the IT look in progress at 30 more locations connected to the Dainik Bhaskar group including the home of its promoters since 7 am on Thursday, July 22, 2021.
The strikes/search task by the IT groups in progress at Bhopal and Indore in Madhya Pradesh, Jaipur in Rajasthan, and Ahmedabad in Gujarat, and a couple of areas in Maharashtra likewise, sources said.
Other than authorities’ premises, the IT group has likewise dispatched search activities at the private premises of the promoters.
Dainik Bhaskar group headquartered in Madhya Pradesh is probably the biggest media group in the country with more than 60 releases working in various states in several dialects.
In the Interim, The Congress Chief Rajya Sabha member and former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Digvijaya Singh tweeted that the Charge authorities “are present” at about six premises of the gathering, including at its office at Press Complex in Bhopal.
