Chasing the target 128 for victory, KKR opener Venkatesh Iyer scored 14 runs and Shubham Gill scored 30 runs to cross DC’s target. Kagiso Rabada and R Ashwin struck two additional strikes to eliminate Shubman Gill and Captain Eoin Morgan, leaving KKR to chase the target.
After Shubman Gill started the run chase of KKR as they reached 67/2 in just 10 overs, what they really needed was 61 runs off 60 balls.
