Matthew Langford Perry 53 years an old American Canadian actor. He is very famous for his role in “Friends” from 1994 to 2004 as Chandler Bing.
He revealed in “The Diane Sawyer Interview” that before filming “Friends” he had to undergo an emergency dental surgery “They did all sorts of things, made mouth feel like fire.”
He even received a Champion of Recovery Award from the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy in May 2013 for opening the Perry House, a modest apartment in a former mansion in Malibu, California.

Perry recently revealed that he hasn’t used drugs in 18 months, meaning he was just sober by the time the much-anticipated reunion aired in May 2021.
Perry said that he had to replace a front tooth that fell out while chewing peanut butter on toast. He was very emotional while talking with the host, he told the interviewer that when they were filming “Friends” the cast members could smell the booze on him.
He admitted that his co-stars had to “support” him at times, and the producers also confronted him about his addiction.

Perry disclosed that he has attended approximately 6,000 AA meetings, been in therapy for 30 years, spent half of his life in therapy or sobriety home, and detoxed approximately 65 times.
Earlier Perry revealed his case from 2018 when his colon burst from opioid overuse. He suffered from gastrointestinal perforation, he spent 5 months in the hospital, including 2 weeks in a coma and using a colostomy bag for 9 months.
He told “I was put on a thing called an ECMO machine, which does all the breathing for your heart and your lungs. And that’s called a Hail Mary. No one survives that.” It was a very hard time for his family as the doctor told family that he had a two percent chance to live.
