Recently, after losing to the eagle by a huge margin of 38-7, Saquon Barkley was questioned about his future with the Giants.
As per the reports, Saquon is all set to become a free agent from the coming new league which will commence on March 16. He also said that there is some doubt about him returning back with the team.
NFL media recorded a statement by Saquon, which says “I can’t envision that being my last time in a Giants uniform,”
For the last two seasons, Barkley was not so attentive because of his injury. But the 2022 season was really important for him. This season really proved great for him as he ran for his career-high 1312 yards.
Barkley said that he proved that he is still up and standing still on the field. He always wanted to be with the Giants and doesn’t know about the future with the team. He also said that further, he will confirm after consulting with his manager.
Currently, Barkley is getting around $12 million annual salary and he raised his market value to $47.8 million this season.
